Lunch & Learn 

Lunch & Learn's are 30 minute Live Webinar's designed as bite size learning opportunities. Each Lunch & Learn Webinar focuses on one element covering:

Rationale

The Lunch & Learn Webinars are designed to provide you with a deeper understanding of each Element within the National Quality Standards.  
2

Reflection

Designed to assist you in taking a deeper look at your current practices, allowing for reflection and consideration of how they may be improved or adapted.

Action

You will be guided to identifying and develop service-specific key improvement items that will be integral to your quality improvement plans. 

Included in your Lunch & Learn Webinar is a Learning Journal & Certificate of Participation. 

To support your learning during the Lunch & Learn and beyond you will also receive a Learning Journal which includes:  

  • NOTES: to take notes, jot down key learnings and questions you may have throughout the webinar. 
  • THINGS TO DO: For when inspiration strikes there is section for you to create a to do list. 
  • CRITICAL REFLECTION: Includes 2 prompts that can be used as evidence of critical reflection for exceeding themes in A&R. 
  • STRENGTHS: As we reflect on practices there is space for you to document the practices that are a strength.
  • BACKCASTING MODEL: Used to identify goals, skills/knowledge required by you or your team, & resources  need to achieve the goal. 
  • QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PLAN: Bringing our learnings, reflections and goals together into your QIP.  
  • After participating in each Lunch & Learn you will receive a CERTIFICATE of PARTICIPATION for that element to demonstrate your commitment to your Professional Development.
