The OSHC Afternoon Reflection

What happens between children arriving from school and heading home?
This free Learn OSHC reflection resource helps educators, Educational Leaders and teams look beyond the activity program and examine the rhythm of the OSHC afternoon.

Using THINK → EXPLORE → REFLECT → LEARN → CONNECT, the resource explores children’s experiences of time, routines, transitions, choice, play, leisure, relationships, engagement and educator intentionality.

Where possible, observe one ordinary afternoon before completing the reflection. The questions will help you notice patterns, seek children’s perspectives and identify one part of the afternoon you may want to understand more deeply.

Use it individually, within an Educational Leader conversation or as the basis for a team reflection.
